Champion Health Rebrand


THE PROBLEMS WITH THE PREVIOUS BRANDING
The Champion Health team sought to move away from a corporate, overly formal brand identity that felt distant from their audience. Their previous branding was perceived as cold, dark and not reflective of the supportive nature of their services. They aimed for a more approachable and engaging brand that better resonated with their audience, conveying warmth, positivity, and accessibility.
WIREFRAMES AND VARIATIONS
To create a more approachable and engaging brand identity, the design approach focused on incorporating softer, rounder shapes, hand-drawn elements, and a slightly more playful aesthetic. A vibrant and diverse color palette was introduced to enhance warmth and inclusivity, moving away from the rigid and corporate feel of the previous design. The logo was also redesigned to align with these principles, ensuring consistency with the new, friendlier visual direction.
A NEW IDENTITY
The new visual identity for Champion Health embodies a more approachable, vibrant, and human-centered ethos, reflecting the brand's commitment to empathy and well-being. The design moves away from rigid corporate aesthetics, opting instead for softer, rounder shapes and a diverse color palette that conveys positivity and inclusivity. Typography choices are clean and modern, with clear hierarchies that enhance readability while maintaining a professional yet friendly tone. The integration of hand-drawn illustrations adds a playful, personal touch, emphasizing connection and optimism. Overall, the updated identity strikes a balance between strength and care, creating a warm, engaging experience that resonates deeply with its audience.
WEBSITE, PRINT AND MARKETING
Once the identity was done, I moved on to rebrand presentations, onboarding assets for clients and social media templates, as well as centralise all graphics in order to streamline the design process within the group and make sure everyone has the right access to assets. I helped with UI elements for the new website and brand direction and released social media and marketing assets promoting Champion Health services and the new identity.
